What do I get when I pay for Ceramicon?

You get access to every pre-recorded class from every artist participating in Ceramicon! This means you get access to ALL the content — to clarify the classes are not sold separately. You can watch the classes at your leisure (there is no specific time commitment involved, unless you sign up for a Live Q&A). You will have an account on this site that allows you to comment on all of the lessons and we will also host some Live Q&A sessions with the Artists after the content goes live.

How are the artists for Ceramicon chosen each year?

Representation and diversity within Ceramicon is incredibly important to us, which is why we take extra care to reach out to amazing artists from every culture and community all over the world. The artists you see in the lineup this year are the result of people who said “yes” due to their schedules and interest in the event! All 18 artist spots are full. Do the artists make money from participating in Ceramicon?

Yes, the Artists receive commission on the tickets they sell to Ceramicon! This is why it’s important for you to join an Artist’s waitlist, which will automatically tag you with that Artist’s name, and click the “register” button on their landing page when it comes time to sign up. Artists are also compensated with a stipend to thank them for the time they put into making their video content.

What’s the main difference between Ceramicon and a course?

Ceramicon is a little different from an online course! Ceramicon features multiple Artists and brings them together in one place to speak on individual topics with a theme, while a course is normally one educator with multiple modules on one topic. In short, these topics will help you grow + thrive in your business regardless. Each Artist will teach on their topic in a pre-recorded session that be housed on this site.

Is the content created exclusively for Ceramicon?

Yes! Each Artist participating has agreed to submit a video that is created specifically for Ceramicon 2023. This means you won’t see that video appear on any other online platforms such as YouTube, Patreon, Facebook, etc. We feel this is important in order to maintain the integrity of this online event.

Can I comment and ask questions on the videos?

Yes! Each video session will have a comment thread that you can post on to interact with the artist and other Ceramicon attendees! You can definitely ask questions on these threads though we can’t guarantee each artist will be able to answer all of them. The best place for questions will be the Live Q&A sessions that are hosted after the content goes live!

Is there a limited amount of people that can join?

Nope! Since it is a digital event, spots are unlimited, so they will never run out. Whew! Just be sure to register during the weeks that Ceramicon is open for new students.

When can I watch the videos and get access to all the amazing content?

When you sign up you’ll be creating a login for the site and all you have to do is come back to the site and login to watch the content. The videos and content will all be housed on our site, so there’s no need to have a separate account for another platform or remember another password for a course hosting company. Each Artist will have their own content page, so you can quickly navigate to the topic you’re ready to watch.

Are the session topics live?

Nope! Each video is pre-recorded, so even if you can’t watch the videos right away, you’re totally fine! All of the content is there for you at any time. No need to worry about “missing” a session.

Does each session have a PDF download?

Whether or not a session has a download of any sort is up to the Artist — they get to decide if they will be providing one for their session + topic!

Are the videos available in different languages?

At this time all the sessions will be recorded in English.

How long do I have access to the content?

You will have access to Ceramicon 2023 for two (2) years via Ceramicon.co from the date the content goes live! That will give you plenty of time to watch all of the videos and take any notes you need.

Do I have to watch the sessions in a certain order?

Absolutely not! We know there’s probably a session or two you want to watch right away, and you can absolutely do that. However, every student will be able to download a student checklist that suggests an order to watch the videos in.

Will there be live Q&A sessions?

Yes! Not every Artist is guaranteed to participate in a Live Q&A session, but we hope to host several! For Ceramicon 2023 more than half of the Artists volunteered to participate.

What if I can’t afford it right now?

Investing in educational resources can be scary, but we want to encourage you to take the next step in growing your business or hobby. If now isn’t the right time for you, we totally get that too!

Do you offer payment plans?

Due to the registration setup, we are unable to offer payment plans for Ceramicon.
